Welcome to TM Mowers

Horticultural machinery sales, repair and maintenance service

TM Mowers began trading in September 2021, taking over the service previously provided by Arun Mowers. We are based in the large workshop adjacent to the Arun Mowers former showroom. We aim to continue with a great service and Taran (Taz) will be continuing the company with his quality workmanship and friendly advice as usual. Our aim is to continue with the services offered by Arun Mowers, including machine servicing, repair and hire, as well as the sale of machinery, equipment and maintenance products. Please pop and see us or give us a call if you would like to discuss anything regarding the change and the services we offer.

Winter Servicing

As we are now into Autumn we are starting to receive enquires about winter servicing. If you would like to get your machine booked in for a service prior to storing it for the winter months, please give us a call or pop and see us. We will ensure it will be running beautifully ready for when the grass starts to grow again.

If you would like any information regarding the cost and work involved in servicing your machinery, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

E10 Petrol and your lawnmower

We understand that our customers have concerns regarding the introduction of E10 petrol and how this may affect the running of their machines.

Petrol currently available from forecourts consists of 5% ethanol (E5). The new E10 fuel will consist of 10% ethanol in an effort to reduce CO2 emissions.

It is important that you check your machine to ensure that they are able to operate using fuels that contain this higher percentage of ethanol. This may cause issues particularly for older machinery models. If you are unsure, please contact us with the make and model of your machine and we can advise you.

If you are concerned or unsure about using E10 petrol in your equipment there are alternatives that we can recommend:

You can use 'super unleaded' fuel, which typically contains the lower 5% ethanol. The government has stated that all petrol pumps are to be clearly marked following the change, so users are aware which percentage of ethanol is in the fuel they use.

Another alternative fuel widely recommended is Aspen. Aspen has a 0% ethanol content meaning emissions are reduced by up to 99%. The absence of ethanol in Aspen fuel is not only beneficial for the environment, but can also prolong the life of your machinery. You can purchase Aspen from us by visiting us at the workshop.
